Prince Idubor (Arhuan Nokenmezi the Great) was a powerful son of Oba Ozolua and a key figure in the succession battle after his father’s death. Known for his strength, leadership, and influence in Udo, he became the main rival to Oba Esigie. Their struggle shaped Benin’s history, but despite his military skill, Idubor was ultimately defeated through the strategic leadership of Queen Idia, who secured the throne for her son.
